Billie Rose Prichard
Billie Rose was nominated in the 2011 Sydney Theatre Awards; Best Supporting Actress in a main stage production for her role in Belvoir St Theater’s The Dark Room.
Billie’s theatre credits include The Siren’s Return, EMPIRE: Terror on the High Seas, Darlinghurst Nights, The Dark Room- Belvoir St Theatre, A Mid Summer Nights Dream dir by Benedict Andrew’s for Belvoir St Theatre, All The Blood And All The Water – Parramatta River Side, Constance Drinkwater and the Final days of Somerset – The Griffin Theatre, Cross Sections – The Opera House/ Old Fitzroy Theatre. Her film credits include X, Monkey Puzzle, Me Myself, I. And for TV: The Silence, Small Claims, The Secret Life Of Us, Young Lions, Home And Away and Wildside. Billie has written, directed and produced three independent film clips. She also released a debut solo EP to co-inside with her solo art exhibition Psycho/Active, part of Sydney Fringe Festival 2011. Billie is also a founding member of Big Village Records and the front woman of a Sydney Hip Hop group The Daily Meds (Triple J Unearthed winners) who were finalists for the AMP award (Australian Music Prize) for best album 2012 for their debut album “Happy Daze”. Nominated by a panel of industry professionals including Deborah Conway, Dave Faulkner & Tim Freedman.
