Belinda Giblin is one of Australia’s most distinguished stage and screen actors known for her impressive career spanning five decades across theatre, television, and film. She has received Sydney Theatre Critics’ Circle Best Actress nominations for her performances in “Happy Days” (Redline Theatre at the Old Fitz) ”John” (Outhouse Theatre Co), “Doubt”(Old Fitz), and ”Blonde Poison”(Strange Duck Productions), and has also appeared in “Family Values”(Griffin Theatre), “Ghosting the Party”(Griffin Theatre ), and most recently in “Amadeus” with Michael Sheen, at the Sydney Opera House and “Suddenly Last Summer”(Ensemble Theatre). Belinda has also appeared as a regular in the television series “Home and Away”; ”Sons and Daughters”;, “Heartbreak High”, “Skyways”, “A Country Practice”, “The Sullivans”, and “The Box”. Her film credits include”; Say “You Want Me”; for which she won a Sammy award, “Peterson”, “Endplay”, “Demolition”, “The Empty Beach”, the award winning short film “Stille Nacht”, the role of Elizabeth I in the Sport for Jove film “Venus and Adonis” in 2021, and in 2022 “A Stitch in Time” which won best Indie Film at the AACTA awards.
