Emily cultivated her passion for theatre when starring in Melbourne Theatre Company’s Festen (Little Girl), directed by Simon Phillips (2006). From there, Emily expanded her skills working in television; Neighbours (2006, Zoe Stafford) and Triple Zero Heroes (2009, Sheyanne). She began her formal training with Federation University (2018) studying a Bachelor of Acting for Stage and Screen. Since graduation, Emily has continued training and honing invaluable tools learnt from Damian Walshe-Howling, Emily Joy, Rosie Traynor and private Alexander Technique classes from Sarah Cathcart. She has brought her art to life in The Cuddle Parlour, (2021) Sprout, (2021), The weight of dreams (2022), The Wind and the Willows (2022/23). Emily has also solely created Five by Five Theatre where she has produced and written two brand new works, Broken Record (2022) and The Charade (2023) which have both received outstanding reviews.
