Rachael Chisholm is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander actor and emerging playwright from Darwin. Rachael is a graduate of NIDA, and since graduating from drama school, has worked mostly in broadcasting as a producer, script writer, presenter, voice over artist and editor. In 2018, Rachael took part in the ATYP Fresh Ink mentoring program for emerging writers, the experience led to Rachael being selected in 2019 as one of the recipients of the Darwin Airports Browns Mart Build Up seeding and development program to work on a new First Nations. Rachael has also worked in filmed and television, such as the film Top End Wedding and Barrumbi Kids. In 2021 Rachael was made a founding member of Browns Mart theatre First Nations Advisory Group. When not working or writing, Rachael spends her time helping with the development of new works for theatre and film.
